about
Sam Kober is a artist and former art educator primarily working in clay. Her work is currently focused on developing and researching custom glazes both functional and special effect/sculptural. Her work also explores the role of how our bodies and clay function as vessels, both as utilitarian vessels and in the ways we ourselves hold the world around us. She received a BA from UCLA in 2016. She formerly worked as an art and ceramic teacher at public schools in Oakland for the past five years.
